Through a generous anonymous donation to our town and with support of Top Energy Gas, the cultural council commissioned an artist to create a beautiful mural and embellish one of the building walls next to our new Town Common.

Sophy Tuttle’s work focuses on the natural world, which is why she is such a good match for Northborough, where we value highly our nature, parks, trails and farms. Her focus on murals to create sense of place is right in line with our public art campaign for placemaking in Northborough. Sophy works with a naturalist to find accurate depictions of plant and animal species that live in the area and bring them to life for residents and travelers through downtown Northborough.
